Get An Advantage With Second Life Bots

Second Life bots are handy little third party programs that you can use to automate a variety of things in the virtual world. Unlike some other online games, Linden Lab does allow the use of bots for the most part. Many SL bots are based on LibSecondLife’s code since it is open source.
Some uses for Second Life bots include but are not limited to:
- Camping
- Chatting
- Greeting
- Group joining
- Role playing
- Copying and Cloning
The copying/cloning bots, also known as Second Life copybots, are frowned upon by Linden Lab. The reason being is because you can use a SL copybot to copy items that you don’t own without having to get the owner’s permission.
Most other bots are allowed in the game and can provide helpful assistance to you. If you’re a shop-owner the bot can help out around the store and do tasks that can be automated. Second Life bots can search for people/places/events for you. SL bots can be used as performing artists to make you money or to attract customers to your business. The possibilities are endless.

Are You Looking For A Second Life Copybot?

Second Life Copybot is program that copies items without the permission of the items’ creators. This program was originally created by libsecondlife development team as an import/export or backup tool to assist in the development of AI (artificial intelligence) or NPCs (non-player characters) in the game.
The source code for the original SL Copybot was made public and it was then edited and recompiled into a program that is now used to replicate items in Second Life.
The functions/features of the SL Copybot include:
- Copying Second Life items that you don’t own without having to get permission from the creator
- Second Life scripts cannot be copied
- Contents of prims cannot be copied, only items that the can be seen directly
- SL Copybot logs into the game as an avatar
Second Life has made numerous attempts to stop the program but the creators of the Copybot have found patches to get it working again. Because of SL developers attempts to stop the program, a working Second Life Copybot can sometimes be hard to find if you don’t know where to look.

Second Life is an amazingly fun game to play where every day brings new opportunities, new adventures, and new friends. This virtual world, however, is not such a great place to be when you’re stuck at something and can’t find the solution.
Linden Lab acknowledges that it’s sometimes difficult and confusing for residents to communicate with them which only adds to the frustration. In attempt to help build a better SL experience they have revised a serious of new Second Life programs and tools for better communication.
They have released new Community Participation Guidelines that apply across all communication paths. These can be used to share ideas, give input on how to improve the SL content, economy, and experience. They’ll also be rolling out a new community platform that includes SL Blogs, SL Answers, the SL Knowledge Base, and such.
It is also extremely important to be able to communicate and connect with other Second Life residents. You can do so at a Second Life forum. This is a place where residents can gather outside of the game if they need help with anything.
At a forum, members help out each other and share content such as Second Life guides, programs, secrets, and even cheats.

SL Cheats: A Better Second Life

Two days ago SL-Newspaer.com shocked many by announcing that they’re closing down after four years of covering Second Life. The reason that the newspaper’s editor Dana Vanmoer gave was that her real life might be more important than her Second Life.
Before closing down down, Dana thanked the newpaper’s staff but had some criticism for Linden Lab:
“One thing I would hope for the future of SL is that the Lindens go back and realize what they are destroying with their policies. The sheer creativity, communication and international impact somewhere like Secondlife can be is being eaten away by the Lindens stupidly ignoring the content creators with their ill thought out policies which help no-one except their own pockets.”
Like Dana, do you:

Reliable Second Life Programs

Recently, with the release of the Viewer 2, Second Life announced an updated Terms of Service (TOS) that incorporated their new policy on third-party viewers. Any third-party viewer or software for viewing SL, whether they are chat clients, bots, utilities, or proxies, may be blocked if they don’t comply with the new conditions for access for access to Second Life.

Staying Safe In Second Life Forums

Recently in SL, a number of residents were victims to a phishing attack through the Second Life Blogs and Forum’s PM (private messaging) system. The creators of SL took appropriate precaution and disabled the PM system entirely until the problem was resolved. They also gathered a list of all the residents who were exposed the phishing attack.
This brings up the questions and concern of how safe you are in your Second Life and how safe are you when you go outside of SL to visit a forum. If you want to be part of a community of members that look out for each other and that is kept malware free than try out this Second Life forum.
