Staying Safe In Second Life Forums
May 6th, 2010
Recently in SL, a number of residents were victims to a phishing attack through the Second Life Blogs and Forum’s PM (private messaging) system. The creators of SL took appropriate precaution and disabled the PM system entirely until the problem was resolved. They also gathered a list of all the residents who were exposed the phishing attack.
This brings up the questions and concern of how safe you are in your Second Life and how safe are you when you go outside of SL to visit a forum. If you want to be part of a community of members that look out for each other and that is kept malware free than try out this Second Life forum.
You’ll not only be surrounded by a community of helpful gamers that share your enthusiasm for the game but you’ll also be provided with many, many virus-free resources you can use to advance in SL. Some of what you can expect to find are:
- Second Life Mods: Will make the game more fun and let you altar it to fit your wants and needs
- SL CopyBots: Will multiply items automatically
- Second Life Cheats: Will speed up the advancing process by giving you shortcuts and secrets unknown by most
- Second Life Guides: Will lead you through the game and provide you with the best methods of going about tasks
