Starting you own Second Life Business
March 17th, 2010
In October 2008 the virtual world met the real world. IBM’s Academy of Technology held their World Conference in the virtual world at a fraction of the cost of a real world conference.
IBM estimated that the Second Life meeting saved them a total of $320,000. Over 200 people worldwide attended. They invested about $80,000 to have the meeting in the virtual world and saved over $250, 000 in travel and venue costs. Since employees could go back to work immediately after the meeting, they were able to save over $150,000 in productivity gain.

Second Life is the world of adventure, innovation, and profit with its endless opportunities. You can build your dream house on a tropical island and choose any career you wish. You can even start your own Second life business and make real money. You can become a landlord, dancer, writer, architect, or anything else you want to be.
